What to Expect Sunday Mornings

Where are you located?

Rossmere is located just north of the city of Lancaster at 741 Janet Ave. We are behind Lancaster Catholic High School and about half a mile west of New Holland Ave. Our main entrance and parking lot is behind the building. The main entrance is underneath the carport.

What’s a typical Sunday morning like?

Our opening kicks off at 9:00 am with a time for singing and the sharing of our Sunday School lesson. About fifteen minutes later we are dismissed to get coffee and hot drinks before going off to our age-based Sunday School classes. Sunday school runs from 9:30 to 10:25 am.

Our second hour of worship begins at 10:30 am and includes singing from hymnals, sharing & prayer, a children’s story, and a sermon. Worship is inter-generational with an effort to include a variety of voices. Services typically last about one hour. Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome to join us for worship.

How do people dress on Sunday?

People come to Rossmere in a variety of attire. Some might wear jeans and a t-shirt. Others dress more formally. You are encouraged to dress however you feel comfortable

Is Nursery Available?

A nursery for young children is available during your visit to Rossmere. The nursery is fully staffed by volunteers during the Sunday School hour for children 6 months to 3 years old. We value our children and take child safety very seriously. During the worship service, parents are welcome to make use of the nursery if their child needs a break from the service.
